A big win for one.
Prizes worth winning for dozens more.
Snaffle Raffle is a monthly prize draw built on a simple idea: more people should win amounts that actually matter. Not £10 here or a free re-entry there — real cash prizes, with 26 winners in the first £10,000 draw and more as the pot grows.
You win. Dozens of others win. Good causes win too.
The traditional lottery is designed to funnel money upward into one staggering headline — sometimes past £100 million — while millions of players get nothing that changes their week. We think that's the wrong way round.
Snaffle Raffle caps the top prize at a sensible level and shares everything above it. A quarter of every ticket goes to that draw's chosen charity. Every entry — paid or free by post — has exactly the same chance of winning.

A real Saturday night, real numbers
Take an ordinary Saturday on the UK's National Lottery: 20th July 2024. The total prize pot was £10,336,124. Here's where it actually went.
Nearly a million "winners", and almost all of them received nothing they could spend. The whole model is built to funnel money upward into one enormous, headline-grabbing prize.
No one needs £100 million. But a lot of people could use £5,000, £10,000, or £50,000.
Cap the top prize. Share meaningful prizes with the rest.
A single large prize, capped at a minority of the pot
The top prize is capped so one winner never takes the lion's share. In a £50,000 prize fund, the headline prize is set at 25% — £12,500 — leaving the remaining 75% to be shared across the other tiers.
The remainder flows into the tiers below
Everything above the cap is distributed to the lower prize tiers, not rolled over or inflated into a jackpot. As the prize fund grows, we add more winners and raise the value of each tier.
Every prize is worth winning
There are no token free-ticket prizes. Every tier pays real cash — 26 winners in the first £10,000 draw, with more winners added as the pot grows. Real money, real people, every single month.
A share to good causes, every time.
25% of every draw's receipts goes to that draw's chosen charity — a mix of large national charities and smaller local causes chosen by our players.
Here's what happens
Enter the monthly draw
Buy entries online in bundles — every entry is one equally-weighted chance. Buy more entries and you simply hold more equal chances. You never pay more for better odds. A free postal entry route has the same chance of winning as any paid entry.
Every pound is accounted for
Before you enter, we show you exactly where every pound goes. Of each draw's receipts, 60% becomes the prize pot, 25% goes to the month's charity and the rest (~15%) covers platform and costs.
The draw
On the draw date, winners are chosen at random using a public randomness beacon (drand) that we neither run nor influence, applied to a sealed, published entry list — so anyone can re-run the draw and reproduce the same winners. The first entry drawn wins the top prize. We keep drawing until the prize pool is shared out.
The results are published in full

The rules, in plain English
To spread prizes worth winning to as many people as possible — never to pile it all on one.
