1. Who we are
Snaffle is operated by Snaffle Draw Ltd ("Snaffle", "we", "us"), registered in England and Wales (company number 17335913), registered office 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. You can contact us at hello@snaffledraw.com.
2. These Terms
By using snaffledraw.com or creating a Snaffle account you agree to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Notice and, if you enter a Draw, our Official Rules. If you subscribe you also agree to the Subscription Terms. If you do not accept these documents, do not use the service.
If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Official Rules in relation to a Draw, the Official Rules prevail.
3. Eligibility and your account
- You must be 18 or over and a UK resident.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account.
- You must give us accurate information and update it if it changes.
- We may ask for proof of age, identity or address at any time. If we cannot verify you we may suspend or close your account.
- One account per person. We may close duplicate accounts and void their entries.
Postal Entries must be linked to your account as set out in the Official Rules; Entries that cannot be matched to an account are invalid.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the site for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful;
- attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, scrape or overload the service;
- use bots or automated tools to create accounts or submit entries;
- impersonate anyone else or misrepresent your identity, age or residency; or
- bypass the free postal entry route in a way that breaches the Official Rules.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules and void any entries or prizes associated with them.
5. Payments
Paid entries are processed by our payment provider Cashflows. Card details are handled by them; Snaffle does not store full card numbers. Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). All prices are shown inclusive of any VAT applicable at the time of payment. By buying an entry bundle you authorise us to charge the payment method you provide for the amount shown at checkout.
6. Refunds and cancellations
Paid Entries are non-refundable once they have been placed into a Draw. When you pay, you ask us to place your Entries into the relevant Draw immediately — and you acknowledge that once your Entries are placed, the service you have purchased (a chance in that specific Draw) has been provided and the 14-day cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations no longer applies, as the contract is for a service linked to a specific event date and you have consented to immediate performance.
Subscriptions: you can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancelling stops future payments and future Entries, but does not remove Entries already placed into the current Draw.
We will refund paid Entries in full if we cancel a Draw, or if we void your Entries because of an error on our part.
7. Responsible play
Entering should be fun and affordable. You can set spend limits, take a break or close your account at any time from your dashboard, or by emailing hello@snaffledraw.com.
8. Our content
All content on snaffledraw.com — text, logos, images, code — is owned by Snaffle or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and share links to the site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish or use our content commercially without our written permission.
9. Availability
We try to keep the site available and accurate but we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw features at any time and, where reasonable, we will let you know in advance.
10. Our liability
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any loss arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the loss. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and, for material changes, notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, except that if you are a consumer you may bring proceedings in the courts of your home nation of the United Kingdom.
